Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Amir Saeed Iravani announced that 4 Iranian diplomats lost their lives in the attack carried out by Israel in Lebanon.
Iran's UN Permanent Representative Amir Saeed Iravani wrote a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the UN Security Council regarding the attack carried out by Israel in Beirut on March 8.
4 IRANIAN DIPLOMATS LOST THEIR LIVES
Iravani stated in his letter that 4 Iranian diplomats lost their lives in the attack on the Ramada Hotel in Beirut. Expressing that the act was a "deliberate terrorist attack," Iravani reported that Second Secretary Majid Hasani Kendeser, Third Secretary Ali Reza Biazar, Attaché Hussein Ahmedlu, and Acting Mission Chief Ahmed Resuli, who were serving at Iran's diplomatic mission in Beirut, lost their lives in the attack.
US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, as well as many high-ranking officials, were killed.
According to Iranian officials, 1,332 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
