After the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, Iran, which lost its influence in Syria, continues its efforts to regain effectiveness through terrorist organizations. A NEW DRONE AGREEMENTIt has emerged that Iran has made a new drone agreement with the terrorist organization YPG/PKK to be used against Turkish UAVs, armed UAVs, and military units. However, the certainty that Turkey will intervene militarily if it detects new shipments has put the Iran-YPG/PKK cooperation in a deadlock. SECRET MEETING IN THE MARKETAccording to a report in Yeni Şafak, a secret meeting was held between Iranian officials and members of the terrorist organization YPG/PKK in a market in Iraq. In this meeting, it was learned that the YPG/PKK requested 2,000 kamikaze drones. However, it was stated by Iran that only 1,500 drones could be supplied. Although the parties agreed on the number of 1,500 and shook hands, serious problems were encountered regarding the delivery. PLAN TO SMUGGLE IN PIECESThe shipment planned to be delivered in Northern Iraq was canceled after Turkey's sensitive monitoring of the border region and its decision to strike for a possible delivery. The pressure from Turkey, which prevented the drone delivery, forced the YPG/PKK to seek different methods. The terrorist organization is following a strategy to smuggle the drones into Syria in pieces. This strategy was developed to both conceal the delivery and avoid Turkey's sensitive monitoring. However, the success of this planning remains uncertain.
