After FIFA President Gianni Infantino said Iran would play its 2026 World Cup matches in the United States, Trump, responding to journalists' questions in the Oval Office, stated, "Let them play, I told Gianni he can do whatever he wants."

After FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced that the Iran National Team will participate in the 2026 World Cup and play their matches in the USA, attention turned to Donald Trump. Speaking about the tournament schedule, overshadowed by political tension, Trump gave an unexpected green light with tolerance.

"IF INFANTINO SAID IT, THERE'S NO PROBLEM"

Answering questions from the press in the Oval Office, Trump stated that he respects Infantino's decision. When a journalist asked, "What do you think about Iran playing here?" Trump responded, "Well, if Infantino said it, there's no problem," expressing his confidence in FIFA's leadership.

"IF THEY WIN, THEN I'LL WORRY"

To the reporter's provocative question during the interview, "What if they win the tournament?" Trump replied with a joke: "Then I'll have to worry. But you know what? Let them play. I told Gianni (Infantino) he can do whatever he wants, he's free on this matter."
