A move resembling war preparations came from Iran, which has been in a mutual standoff with the United States. Under the command of Iranian Chief of General Staff Amir Hatami, one thousand strategic unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been added to the army's inventory.

As tensions rise between Washington and Tehran, Iranian Chief of Staff Major General Amir Hatami ordered the acquisition of one thousand strategic unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) into the army's inventory.

According to a report by Iran's semi-official news agency Tasnim, it was noted that the new UAVs, which were put into service under the instruction of Chief of Staff Amir Hatami, are expected to significantly enhance the operational capabilities of the army's four forces.

"LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE 12-DAY WAR..."

The report stated, "The UAVs were developed in collaboration with army experts and the Ministry of Defense based on the lessons learned from the 12-day war in June 2025 and the emerging threats. These unmanned aerial vehicles are designed in the categories of destructive, offensive, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare, and have the capability to strike specific fixed and mobile targets in land, sea, and air domains."

"FAST COMBAT READINESS"

Following the order to incorporate UAVs into the inventory, Hatami expressed that maintaining and strengthening strategic superiority against future threats is a continuous priority for the army. He stated that these efforts are aimed at ensuring rapid combat readiness and delivering devastating responses to any aggression.

LATEST STATUS IN THE US-IRAN CRISIS

The waters between the US and Iran have not calmed for a while. US President Donald Trump issued another new message yesterday via the social media platform Truth. Referring to the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier and its accompanying fleet deployed in the Persian Gulf, Trump stated, "A massive armada is heading towards Iran. It is moving quickly, with great power, enthusiasm, and purpose. This fleet is larger than the one sent to Venezuela."

IRAN RESPONDED: WE WILL RESPOND LIKE NEVER BEFORE

Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations responded to US President Donald Trump's military threats against their country with a statement shared on X, quoting Trump's post.

The statement highlighted that the US has lost 7 trillion dollars and thousands of soldiers in its wars against Iraq and Afghanistan, stating, "Iran is ready for dialogue based on mutual respect and interests, but if pressured, it will defend itself and respond like never before."

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed that the Iranian Armed Forces are on alert to respond to any form of aggression.

Araghchi stated, "Tehran has always welcomed a fair nuclear agreement that guarantees Iran's rights and ensures that there will be no nuclear weapons."
