Following Israel's attacks on Iran, a counter-move came from Iran. Iran targeted Israeli cities with numerous missiles, particularly focusing on Tel Aviv.
WILL IRAN'S ATTACKS CONTINUE?
During the Iranian attacks that continued throughout the night, many people were injured, and it became a matter of curiosity whether the attacks would continue.
General Ahmed Vahidi, the former commander of the Quds Force, who was appointed as the new commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps after General Hussein Salami was killed in the Israeli attack, stated that the attacks would continue as long as necessary.
Vahidi said, "Operation Real Word 3 will continue as long as necessary. In the first phase, we dealt a heavy blow to the Zionists."
WHAT HAPPENED?
In the early morning, Israel launched attacks on Iran's capital Tehran, the Natanz nuclear facility in Tabriz and Isfahan, as well as the cities of Lorestan, Kermanshah, Shiraz, Khuzestan, Hamadan, and Qom.
In the attacks, high-ranking military officials, including Iranian Chief of General Staff Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander Major General Hussein Salami, Commander of the Hatem al-Anbiya Central Headquarters Gholamali Rashid, and Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, along with six nuclear scientists, lost their lives.
In Israel's attacks in Tehran, civilian residential areas were also hit, and it was reported that many civilians, including women and children, lost their lives.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that they had launched an attack on Iran, saying that the attacks would continue "until the danger is eliminated." Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that a state of emergency had been declared in the country.
The Israeli army announced that more than 200 fighter jets participated in the attacks, and it was noted that drones were also used.
