In Iran, after the death of Ali Khamenei, the newly elected religious leader Mojtaba Khamenei published his first message. Khamenei vowed to take revenge for the 185 children and teachers who lost their lives in the attack carried out by the United States and Israel on the Shajarat al-Tayyiba Girls' Primary School in the city of Minab, located in Hormozgan province, on February 28. He stated, "We will never give up on avenging the blood of your martyrs, especially the blood of the martyrs of Minab."
After the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the US-Israel attack, his son Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, elected by the Experts Assembly, published his first message after taking on the leadership role.
While Mojtaba Khamenei's message was read by a presenter on state television, there was no footage or audio of the new leader.
HE SWORE REVENGE FOR THE KILLED GIRLS
Khamenei swore revenge for the 185 children and teachers who lost their lives in the attack carried out by the US and Israel on the Shajarat al-Tayyiba Girls' Primary School in the city of Minab, Hormozgan province, on February 28. He stated, "We have thwarted attempts to divide the country." Khamenei said, "We will never give up on avenging the blood of your martyrs, especially the blood of the martyrs of Minab."
"THE OPTION OF CLOSING THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ MUST DEFINITELY CONTINUE"
Addressing the Iranian Armed Forces, Khamenei emphasized that the people want "effective and regretful defense" to continue, stating: "The option of closing the Strait of Hormuz must definitely continue. Efforts have also been made to open other fronts where the enemy has little experience and will be extremely vulnerable. If the state of war continues and based on the principle of protecting interests, these fronts will be activated." Khamenei also noted that it is possible to abandon disputes in order to ensure social unity, saying, "Sitting in this chair is a heavy responsibility. The nation must maintain its unity."
"AS LONG AS ATTACKS COME FROM BASES, ATTACKS ON US BASES AND TARGETS WILL CONTINUE"
Regarding Iran's attacks on US bases located in regional countries, Khamenei stated, "We have borders with 15 countries, but the enemy has military bases in some countries. These bases were used in the recent attacks against us, and we targeted those bases. If those bases continue to be used, we will continue to respond in the same way." he said.
Khamenei called on those countries to close US bases, continuing: "These countries must clearly state their stance against those who attack our beloved homeland and the murderers of our people. My advice to them is to close those bases as soon as possible. Because they must have realized that America's claim to provide security and peace is actually a lie. This step will also help them strengthen their ties with their own people, as a large portion of their populations are not pleased with supporting the arrogance front and its humiliating behaviors. At the same time, this will increase the wealth and power of the countries."
"WE WILL DEMAND COMPENSATION FROM THE ENEMY AND IF THEY REFUSE, WE WILL SEIZE THEIR PROPERTY IN THE AMOUNT WE DETERMINE"
The new leader of Iran, Khamenei, also stated that they will demand "compensation from the enemy" as war reparations, saying, "We will demand compensation from the enemy, and if they refuse, we will seize their property in the amount we determine; if that is not possible, we will destroy the same amount of their property."
Khamenei also mentioned in his message that he learned about the final decision of the Experts Assembly regarding the election of the new Iranian leader from television, just like the public.
