The claim that Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş will resign from the Republican People's Party (CHP) and continue his path independently, after expressing his dissatisfaction with being informed one hour before his speech at the CHP's Statute Congress, has caused a great stir in the public. Yavaş, who denied the resignation claims that were also reported in some media outlets, said, "I don't have time to deal with slander, conspiracy, and lies."
