Israeli warplanes bombed the capital Beirut for the first time since the ceasefire that came into effect with Lebanon on November 27. A building in the Hades neighborhood was flattened, and smoke was seen rising from numerous buildings.
The Israeli army carried out an airstrike on the al-Hades neighborhood south of the capital Beirut, following the threats it announced. Fighter jets targeted a building in southern Beirut with 2 missiles.
