Israel has banned the entry of the UN Secretary-General, who called for restraint in Lebanon.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed deep concern about the increasing tensions in Lebanon and Israel's attacks, calling for urgent restraint. Guterres stated during his meeting with the Lebanese Prime Minister that the entire UN system is ready to support Lebanon.

ISRAEL DECLARED HIM "UNWANTED PERSON"

Guterres's call for restraint angered the Tel Aviv administration significantly. Israel has banned UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres from entering the country.

ACCUSATION OF "NOT CONDEMNING IRAN'S ATTACK SUFFICIENTLY"

It was reported that Israel made this decision by declaring Guterres an "unwanted person" because he "did not sufficiently condemn" Iran's missile attack yesterday.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz stated about Secretary-General Guterres, "UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has been declared an unwanted person in Israel today and banned from entering the country. Someone who cannot condemn Iran's attacks on Israel in unequivocal terms does not deserve to set foot on Israeli soil.

This Secretary-General has yet to condemn the massacre and sexual atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7 and has made no effort to have Hamas declared a terrorist organization. A Secretary-General who supports terrorists, rapists, and murderers from Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and now Iran, the homeland of global terrorism, will be remembered as a stain in UN history. Israel will continue to defend its citizens and uphold its national dignity, whether Guterres is there or not," he said.
