Hezbollah carried out intense rocket and missile attacks targeting military bases and settlements in Israel as part of the Hayber 1 Operation.
Hezbollah announced that it has carried out intense attacks on numerous military bases and settlements in Israel, as well as on Israeli soldiers within Lebanese territory.
In a statement made from Hezbollah's social media account, it was reported that as part of the attacks named "Operation Khaibar 1," the Israeli base in Atlit, south of the city of Haifa, and the Shayetet 13 naval unit stationed there were targeted with missiles.
ISRAEL IS IN HEZBOLLAH'S SIGHTS
It was noted that Israeli forces stationed in the Misgav region, northeast of Haifa, were targeted with rockets, and the settlements of Shomera, Shtula, and Zarit in northern Israel were targeted with artillery fire.
It was stated that the city of Nahariya in northern Israel was targeted with numerous drones, and the air defense systems in Ma'alot-Tarshiha were also targeted with missiles, as well as the Amiad and Shamshun bases around the Sea of Galilee with rocket attacks.
NUMEROUS POINTS WERE TARGETED
The statement mentioned that missile attacks were carried out on the Northern Command Headquarters located in the city of Safed in northern Israel, as well as on the Eid Zeitim and Geva bases.
It was expressed that the Meron Base in northern Israel was targeted with missiles, and numerous rocket attacks were directed at the settlements of Kiryat Shmona, Metula, Malkiya, Dishon, Avivim, Kfar Blum, Ramot Naftali, Zarit, Shula, Even Menashe, and Beit Hillel.
It was reported that Israeli soldiers were targeted with rocket attacks and artillery fire in the towns of Markaba, Hula, Mays al-Jabal, and Hiyam in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army stated that Hezbollah has been carrying out rocket attacks on various regions of Israel and announced that it has initiated airstrikes across Lebanon.
ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON LEBANON
In a statement made by the Israeli army on March 2, it was mentioned that sirens were activated in the northern part of the country after detecting missile launches from Lebanon.
Later, the Israeli army announced that it had initiated airstrikes across Lebanon, targeting the capital Beirut, and decided to expand its ground invasion in Lebanon, conducting intense attacks from the air and sea.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported in a statement yesterday that the number of people killed in Israeli attacks since March 2 has risen to 912, while the number of injured has reached 2,221.
The Disaster Management Authority, affiliated with the Lebanese government, announced that the number of people forcibly displaced in Lebanon due to Israel's occupation and attacks has officially exceeded 1 million.
