Israel's President Herzog: We are becoming horrifically bestial

Israeli President Isaac Herzog admitted that fanatical Jews are attacking the sanctities of Muslim and Christian Palestinians, and that attacks by Israeli gangs in the West Bank have increased to a terrifying level. Herzog said, "A terrible process of dehumanization is taking place in the fringes of Israeli society. We are facing the animalistic behavior of a handful of people who believe that those arrested and interrogated have no rights."

Israeli President Isaac Herzog said that a process of "animalization" is taking place in Israeli society, moving from the peripheries to the center.

"ATTACKS BY FANATIC JEWS HAVE INCREASED TERRIBLY"

Speaking at an event in West Jerusalem, Herzog stated that "terrible brutality is spreading" in Israeli society. Herzog admitted that fanatic Jews are targeting the sanctities of Muslim and Christian Palestinians, and that attacks by Israeli gangs usurping Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank have increased to a "terrible" level.

"A TERRIBLE ANIMALIZATION PROCESS IS OCCURRING"

Pointing out that this brutality is beginning to settle from the peripheries to the center, Herzog said, "A terrible process of animalization is taking place in the peripheries of Israeli society. We are subjected to the bestial behavior of a handful of people who think that those arrested and interrogated have no rights."

FAR-RIGHT BEN-GVIR REACTED

Far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir reacted to Herzog's statements. Ben-Gvir, who praised and shared images of the mistreatment of activists from the Global Sumud Fleet, which set out to break the blockade on Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid, and was unlawfully detained by Israel in international waters, responded.

In a post on his account on the social media platform owned by the US-based X company, Ben-Gvir claimed, "A president who describes hundreds of thousands of citizens of the State of Israel as animals is not worthy of the presidency."

The far-right minister, who defends the mistreatment of Sumud Fleet activists, is known for going to Israeli prisons to expose violations against Palestinian detainees in front of cameras and for supporting the ill-treatment of Palestinian prisoners.

Human rights organizations report that systematic torture against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons has increased and conditions have worsened under Ben-Gvir's ministry.
