Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians harvesting olives in the West Bank with sticks. Seven Palestinians were injured in the attack. Israeli forces, who protected the attacking settlers, closed the entrances and exits of the town of Deir Nizam and detained a Palestinian youth.
Seven people were injured in attacks by Israelis who have occupied Palestinian territories against Palestinians harvesting olives in the occupied West Bank.
Despite the ceasefire, Israeli pressures on Palestinians continue. Most recently, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians who were collecting olives.
THEY ATTACKED WITH STICKS
According to eyewitnesses, a group of radical Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmers harvesting olives in the town of Deir Nizam, near Ramallah in the West Bank. Protected by Israeli forces, the Israelis attempted to drive three Palestinian families collecting olives from their lands using sticks and stones.
7 PALESTINIANS INJURED
In the attacks by Israeli settlers, 7 Palestinians, including women, were injured. Israeli forces, which protected the attacking settlers, closed the entrances and exits of the town of Deir Nizam and detained a Palestinian youth.
