Italy Announce Provisional Squad For EURO 2024

National team to open campaign against Albania on June 15 before playing Spain, Croatia in Group B.

Italy revealed its initial 30-man squad for EURO 2024 on Thursday, ahead of the forthcoming European Championship.

Ciro Immobile, Manuel Locatelli and Marco Verratti were not called up to the national team by manager Luciano Spalletti.

Under the helm of Spalletti, Italy will open their European Championship campaign against Albania on June 15 before facing Spain and Croatia in Group B.

The Italian national team lifted the EURO 2020 trophy for the second time after beating England 3 - 2 on penalties.
