Former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris stated that she is against her country's attacks on Iran, saying, "Trump has dragged us into a war that the American people do not want. He has put American soldiers in danger. I am absolutely against this arbitrary war, and everyone should be against it." Harris called on the U.S. Congress to take immediate action to stop Trump's random decision.
Former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris opposed the military attack by the U.S. and Israel against Iran in a video shared on her social media account.
"WE WERE DRAGGED INTO A WAR THAT THE PEOPLE DID NOT WANT"
Harris stated, "Donald Trump dragged us into a war that the American people did not want. He put American soldiers in danger. I am absolutely against this arbitrary war, and everyone should be against it." She called on the U.S. Congress to take immediate action to stop Trump's "random decision." Harris added, "The American people do not want our sons and daughters to enter this unauthorized, arbitrary war."
U.S.-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the U.S. launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations.
In response, Iran attacked targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, where U.S. bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the U.S.-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed.
The Iranian Red Crescent announced that 201 people lost their lives and 747 were injured in the bombings targeting the country.
