Kayserispor football players visited the special operations police officer who was injured in an operation against organized crime groups in the city at his home. During the visit, the injured officer was gifted a Kayserispor jersey with his name on it.
Furkan Soyalp, Semih Güler, and Mehmet Eray Özbek, who play for Zecorner Kayserispor, visited the special operations police commissioner Erol Bilen Kaplan, who was injured in the leg as a result of gunfire from one of the suspects during an operation against criminal organizations in the city.
INJURED IN THE OPERATION
In the operation carried out by the Provincial Police Department's Smuggling and Organized Crime Division on February 13, special operations police officer Erol Bilen Kaplan was injured in the leg when one of the suspects fired two shots.
VISIT FROM KAYSERISPOR PLAYERS
Kaplan, who was treated at Kayseri City Hospital, has been discharged. Furkan Soyalp, Semih Güler, and Mehmet Eray Özbek, who are the vice president of Zecorner Kayserispor and players of the yellow-red team, visited police officer Kaplan to wish him a speedy recovery.
JERSEY WAS GIFTED
In a statement made from the Central Anatolia team's social media account, it was stated, "Our Vice President Süleyman Akın, along with our players Furkan Soyalp, Semih Güler, and Mehmet Eray Özbek, visited our valuable Commissioner Erol Bilen Kaplan, who was injured in the operation carried out by our Police Special Operations teams on the morning of 13.02.2026, at his home to convey their best wishes." During the visit, a Kayserispor jersey with his name on it was gifted to the injured officer.
