The Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office detained the Editor-in-Chief Kenan Şeker in Ankara as part of the investigation launched against ANKA News Agency, which was broadcasting live from Incirlik Air Base.

The Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has detained ANKA News Agency's General Editor Kenan Şeker in Ankara as part of an investigation into live broadcasts from Incirlik Air Base.

ANKA News Agency had broadcast live for approximately 1 hour and 14 minutes from Incirlik Air Base and shared images of the base.

AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED

Regarding the matter, the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had initiated an ex officio investigation into the live broadcasting of images of Incirlik Air Base by ANKA News Agency. Three suspects had been detained in Adana in connection with the issue.

GENERAL EDITOR DETAINED

In relation to the matter, a detention order was issued by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for ANKA's General Editor Kenan Şeker. Following the detention order, Şeker was taken into custody in Ankara during the night hours.
