Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey announced that he is still unable to get his life back on track, revealing that he is homeless, despite seven years having passed since the sexual assault scandal that deeply affected his career. In an interview with the Telegraph, Spacey discussed the economic and personal challenges he has faced in recent years.

Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey, whose career has been severely damaged due to sexual assault allegations, spoke openly for the first time about the challenges he has faced after seven years. Spacey stated that he became homeless after a long legal battle and being ostracized from Hollywood, living his life in hotels and Airbnbs. The famous actor expressed that his financial situation has been severely impacted, saying, "I really don't have a home."

The 66-year-old actor said, "I live in hotels, I live in Airbnbs. Wherever the work is, I go there. I really don't have a home, that's what I'm trying to say."

NOT AT THE BRINK OF BANKRUPTCY, BUT...

Despite being acquitted of sexual assault charges brought by four men in England, Spacey stated that his financial situation is "not very good." However, he emphasized that he has never reached the brink of bankruptcy.

Firmly denying any wrongdoing, the famous actor said, "The costs over the last seven years have been astronomical. Very little has come in, and everything has gone out."

Regarding the "cancel culture" in Hollywood, he said, "You get through it."

I FEEL LIKE I'VE RETURNED TO WHERE I STARTED

Once living in Baltimore, Spacey mentioned that all his belongings are currently in storage, stating, "Strangely, I feel like I've returned to where I started; I go where the work is. I hope that as things continue to improve, I can decide again where I want to live."

MORE THAN 30 ALLEGATIONS, SIGNIFICANT CAREER LOSS

Spacey, who won an Oscar for "American Beauty" and rose to fame with the series "House of Cards," has been accused of inappropriate behavior and sexual assault by more than 30 men, including "Star Trek: Discovery" actor Anthony Rapp, since 2017.

During this process, Netflix removed Spacey from "House of Cards," and the series continued in 2018 with Robin Wright taking over the lead role.

In a lawsuit filed in New York in 2022, Spacey was not held responsible, while in July 2023, he was acquitted of assault charges against four men in a case heard in England.

PERFORMED IN CYPRUS

According to a report by the Telegraph, the actor took the stage this week at a resort in Limassol, Cyprus, as part of his efforts to return to his career.
