Following the group meeting crisis that erupted last week in the CHP, Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is set to make a highly discussed "Monday move". Dr. Ali Haydar Fırat, reporting on the latest situation in Ankara's political circles, announced that Kılıçdaroğlu will appoint new deputy group chairs on Monday and replace the party's key provincial heads in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir.

After the tension in last week's group meeting in the Republican People's Party (CHP), attention has turned to this week. Communication Scientist Dr. Ali Haydar Fırat, reporting on the latest movements in Ankara's backstage, announced that Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will appoint new group deputy chairpersons on Monday and that changes will be made in the provincial presidencies of three major cities.

Sharing the latest developments discussed in Ankara's backstage on TV100, Fırat evaluated the new administrative steps and administrative processes within the party.

"NEW GROUP DEPUTY CHAIRPERSONS TO BE APPOINTED ON MONDAY"

Stating that a critical move will be made on Monday regarding the group deputy chairmanship crisis within the party, Fırat said:

"With high probability, an appointment will be made regarding the group deputy chairpersons. The main issue here is that our Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Numan Kurtulmuş, needs to demonstrate a will. The election of group deputy chairpersons, without the permission of the chairman and without a sense of responsibility, lacks both legal and legitimacy acceptability. The names are not yet clear. Some names will certainly come forward in front of Kılıçdaroğlu."

TENSION IN PARLIAMENT OVER "OFFICE EVACUATION"

Fırat stated that some dismissed group deputy chairpersons are resisting vacating their offices in Parliament, with official correspondence ongoing between the central headquarters and the Parliament Presidency. Evaluating the process, Fırat said, "There are dismissed group deputy chairpersons, and they insist on not vacating their offices. They want to turn every decision into an atmosphere of conflict. They say 'we will leave,' but they are striving to turn every decision into a conflict environment and see how they can break off a large part. Kılıçdaroğlu's attitude, however, is extremely clear: 'I will never bring my own party members against each other' and he is making an effort to maintain an atmosphere of peace in the party."

CLAIM: "PROVINCIAL CHAIRS OF THREE MAJOR CITIES TO CHANGE"

Emphasizing that the crisis will not be limited to the TBMM group and that a radical change is imminent in the organizations, Ali Haydar Fırat noted that three major provinces are particularly targeted. Fırat signaled a major change in the party by saying, "I can say this especially for three major cities in the Republican People's Party organizations: the provincial presidencies of Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir may change. Such a process is likely to occur."
