Famous actor Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ recounted his last conversation with businessman Halit Yukay, who passed away in the Sea of Marmara, in court. Tatlıtuğ stated, "We were planning a family vacation together. He was going to stay in Bozcaada that evening and come to me the next day. He said, 'I will send you the location,' and then the signal was lost. That was our last conversation."
In August, after leaving Yalova with his boat, businessman Halit Yukay lost his life in the Sea of Marmara, and famous actor Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, who spoke with him on the phone, also gave a statement in his case. Speaking in court, Tatlıtuğ shared what he knew about the matter, saying that he was supposed to meet the late Yukay the next day.

Speaking in the case seen in Erdek district of Balıkesir, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ said, "On August 4, I had several phone conversations with the late Halit. We were planning a family vacation together. He, his wife, children, me, my wife, and my son were planning a vacation. I bought a boat from him. Before and after this time, and after buying the boat, we had a very close friendship. On August 4, after he left Yalova in the afternoon, he was going to stay in Bozcaada that evening. The next day, he was planning to come to me. If the weather conditions were bad, he would change his route and either go to Çeşme or continue to stay in Bozcaada. We had several mutual phone calls. But as far as I understand, he couldn't answer the calls while at the helm. Then he called me back and answered the phone. We had a very brief conversation. He was in good spirits. He was quite positive and in a good mood. We had a short conversation," he said.
"THE SIGNAL WAS LOST WHILE HE WAS GOING TO SEND HIS LOCATION"
Continuing his statement, Tatlıtuğ said, "I asked him for his location. I asked where he was. He told me he was sailing from the north of Marmara and that everything was fine, and that he would be staying in Bozcaada in a few hours. While talking to him on the phone, I told him he needed to give me his location. I said if you send me your location, I will follow you. I want to track you from here. 'Okay, I will send you the location,' that was our last conversation. Then the signal was lost. When the signal was lost, I made a personal interpretation. I said this signal was lost. Ten days ago, we were on the same route. While we were going that way, I had a time when I couldn't reach a phone signal for about an hour... Yes, it was about an hour. I thought that my friends who were traveling with me on the boat would call me back when they were available. However, when I realized that the messages I sent did not reach the other party, meaning they did not reach the map, I had a feeling inside. I called a person who was working closely with him and was a friend. I called Eren and informed him of the situation. I said there is such a situation. I can't reach him, but I know that we took this route ten days ago, the signal might have been lost. But just in case, keep this information with you. Let me give you this information.
