Beşiktaş strengthened its defense by bringing Emmanuel Agbadou, who plays for Wolverhampton, to Istanbul. The transfer, which cost 18+2 million euros, has been recorded as the second most expensive signing in the history of the black-and-white club.
Beşiktaş made a significant reinforcement to its defense line on the last day of the transfer window. The black-and-white team brought Ivorian defender Emmanuel Agbadou, who was wearing the Wolverhampton jersey, to Istanbul.

In the statement made by the club, it was stated, "Negotiations have begun with the player and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club regarding the transfer of professional football player Emmanuel Elysee Djedje Agbadou."

TERMS OF AGREEMENT AND COST REVEALED
According to information shared by journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Beşiktaş has reached an agreement for a 4.5-year contract with Emmanuel Agbadou. The Ivorian defender will earn 3 million euros annually. The transfer fee, including bonuses, will amount to approximately 20 million euros.

The Agbadou transfer has entered Beşiktaş history with its cost. The black-and-white team will pay 18 million euros as a transfer fee and 2 million euros in bonuses for this transfer.
