According to a report by Ezgi Akın from Al Monitor, a Turkish source confirmed that the U.S. suggested a meeting between Vance and Qalibaf. The source stated that the contacts in question were planned to be conducted through mediator countries, including Turkey.
It was reported that the Iranian side has not yet given an official response to this proposal.
MEETING TRAFFIC MAY MOVE TO ISLAMABAD
