Famous American singer Madonna drew attention to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, calling on the spiritual leader of Catholics and the President of the Vatican City, Pope Leo XIII, to visit the region. In a post on her X account, Madonna stated, "Politics cannot create change; only awareness can create change," expressing her desire to convey her message to the Pope.
"I CAN'T BEAR TO WATCH THEM SUFFER"
Stating that the Pope's entry into Gaza cannot be prevented, Madonna addressed the Pope, saying, "Please go to Gaza before it’s too late and bring your light to the children. As a mother, I can't bear to watch them suffer. The children of the world belong to all of us."
Pointing to the children caught in the midst of the conflicts in Gaza, Madonna said, "The humanitarian aid doors need to be completely opened, and innocent children need to be rescued. There is no time left, please say you will go."
Indicating that today is her son Rocco's birthday, Madonna said, "As a mother, the best gift I can give him is to ask everyone to do their part to save the innocent children caught in the midst of conflicts."
Madonna emphasized that she does not blame anyone and does not take sides, inviting those who want to help to donate to the civil society organization World Central Kitchen (WCK) based in the US and the Israeli civil society organization Women Wage Peace.
Singer Madonna stated, "Everyone is suffering. My only goal is to prevent these children from dying of hunger."
