VENEZUELA: WE WILL RESPOND

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the U.S. was preparing to take "new measures" against drug trafficking networks in Venezuela, claiming that ground operations would "begin soon." Trump had said last October that he authorized the CIA to operate within Venezuela to stop the flow of illegal immigrants and drugs coming from the South American country.
