Manchester City Forward Torres Faces Foot Injury

Ferran Torres, 21, suffered 'small fracture' to right foot while on international duty with Spain, team says.

Manchester City forward Ferran Torres has injured his foot, the English Premier League club said Thursday.
"Ferran Torres has suffered an injury to his right foot whilst on international duty," Manchester City said in a statement.
Torres, 21, had a "small fracture" that Man City will monitor and further updates on his recovery will be disclosed, it added.
Torres scored twice against Italy in the Oct. 6 UEFA Nations League semifinal as Spain secured a 2-1 victory to qualify for the final.
He played in the final where France won 2-1 on Oct. 10.
