In his statement, Yavaş said, "As far as I learned, the Deputy Minister came yesterday and gathered the necessary information. Our friends are continuing their protests. We, as Ankara Metropolitan, Beypazarı, and Nallıhan municipalities, will continue to support them during this process. I spoke with the minister on the phone. He said he would meet with the representatives here next week and that they would not stop coal production. I conveyed this to the friends. At the same time, I mentioned that these friends are seeking guarantees. I believe the issue will be resolved through discussions next week."
