1 KILOGRAM OF MINCED MEAT FIXED AT 485 TL THROUGHOUT RAMADAN
According to a statement from Agricultural Credit, KOOP Market aims to have a strong position in the retail sector with its frozen minced meat product. Frozen meat products, widely preferred in European Union countries, stand out with their healthy, convenient, and long shelf life.
The frozen minced meat products available at KOOP Market are produced in facilities with high hygiene and quality standards of the Meat and Milk Institution (ESK). The products, delivered to consumers while maintaining the cold chain, offer an important alternative in terms of food safety and sustainability.
The products to be offered to consumers at affordable prices will be available for sale in all KOOP Markets across Turkey starting from Saturday, February 14. The 400-gram frozen minced meat produced in Agricultural Credit's own facilities will be available for 194 TL, while the 1-kilogram frozen minced meat obtained in cooperation with ESK will meet consumers at a fixed price of 485 TL throughout Ramadan.
"WE ARE CONNECTING WITH OUR CONSUMERS WITHOUT BREAKING THE COLD CHAIN"
In the statement, KOOP Market General Manager Orhan Kozan expressed that the collaboration between Agricultural Credit and ESK has a long-term and sustainable structure. Kozan stated that they have taken an important step with this collaboration, saying, "We have completed all our preparations to ensure uninterrupted access to products for our consumers, and we will carry out product shipments to our stores at least twice a week. This application for frozen minced meat products, which we offer at the most affordable prices in the market, will not be limited to Ramadan but will continue throughout the year."
Kozan, stating that they operate on the principle of offering products to consumers under the most favorable conditions, continued: "We have taken action to offer the ESK frozen minced meat product, which we sell in a limited number of our markets, in all our branches by evaluating the high demand from our consumers. We are connecting these products, produced in ESK's facilities in different provinces under high hygiene standards, with our consumers without breaking the cold chain. As a result of our efforts, we have signed this collaboration to further advance this application, which consumers appreciate, and to provide healthy and reliable meat products to consumers."
"WE DO NOT FORESEE PRICE INCREASES IN BASIC FOOD PRODUCTS"
Kozan expressed their happiness in implementing an application that will satisfy consumers with strong stocks, stating that consumers can safely purchase and store the frozen minced meat product with a one-year shelf life.
Kozan noted that they are preparing campaigns not only for meat products but also for all basic food categories during Ramadan, stating that as KOOP Market, they procure products directly from farmers and process them in modern meat, milk, legumes, and oil factories within Agricultural Credit to deliver them to consumers without intermediaries.
Kozan mentioned that they aim to contribute to both the national economy and consumer budgets with this model and to support the fight against inflation. He provided information that they continue to increase sales points across Turkey, stating that they do not foresee price increases in basic food products during Ramadan.
