TRUCK COLLIDED WITH CAR
The accident occurred near the Kuskunkıran Tunnel on the Bitlis-Van highway. According to the information obtained, a truck with the license plate 13 AAS 081 collided with a car with the license plate 34 ACK 344 coming from the opposite direction for an undetermined reason.
2 PEOPLE FROM THE SAME FAMILY LOST THEIR LIVES
In the accident, two people from the same family lost their lives at the scene, while a total of 5 people were injured, 3 of whom are in serious condition. Following the notification, a large number of gendarmerie, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
INJURED PERSONS WERE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
The injured individuals were taken to Gevaş State Hospital by ambulances after the initial intervention at the scene. While security measures were taken in the area, it was learned that an investigation into the accident had been initiated.
The road that was closed due to the accident was reopened to traffic after the work was completed.
