The process that started with MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's message of "Terror-Free Turkey" continues with the announcement of the PKK terrorist organization's decision to disband and lay down arms on May 12, Monday.

A VERY LARGE TEAM PARTICIPATED IN THE MARCH

A march was held on Gabar Mountain in Şırnak on the occasion of May 19, Atatürk Memorial, Youth and Sports Day. A very large team participated in the "Youth and Parade March," and Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar and TBMM President Numan Kurtulmuş were among the attendees.

"WE ARE AT THE BEGINNING OF AN ERA WHERE PEACE AND BROTHERHOOD ARE REIGNING"

Speaking at the oil field, TBMM President Numan Kurtulmuş said, "It is a very meaningful day. A meaningful period. We are very pleased to have carried out this march on the occasion of May 19 Youth and Sports Day together with the youth of Şırnak. We are here with a large team. We have our youth. We are at the beginning of an era where peace and brotherhood are starting to reign in this geography, where terror once roamed all over these mountains. We will organize a beautiful program together with our NGOs and opinion leaders.

"TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS MUST SURRENDER THEIR WEAPONS"

We will convey a strong message wishing for the thousand-year Turkish-Kurdish brotherhood of peace, friendship, and brotherhood to last until the Day of Judgment. The process continues as planned. The next step is for the terrorist organizations to surrender their weapons. After this surrender, the place where the issue will be discussed, both politically and in terms of preparing the legal ground, is the TBMM. All political parties will support the process," he stated.

"AS WE GET RID OF TERROR, WE HAVE REVEALED GREAT WEALTH"

Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar stated, "Today is much more special. Our production in Gabar has increased significantly; we have reached a production of 81,000 barrels. A terror-free Turkey now makes much more sense here. On this special day, we are sharing this great project with our valuable president of the Parliament, our deputies, and our commission member deputies together with our youth. This region was known for terrorism, but thank God, as we got rid of terror, we revealed great wealth. Our youth in Şırnak have found significant job opportunities. Everyone's hopes will grow much larger. It has become a significant economic gain for our country."

"WE HAVE VERY IMPORTANT NEW EXPLORATION AREAS"

We are here with you to meet our goal of a terror-free Turkey, which has gained much greater meaning in Gabar. One of our most important projects in energy is the oil exploration and production project we are carrying out in Şırnak at Gabar. Thank God, in a very short time, we have reached a daily production of 81,000 barrels from the discovery we started in 2021, meeting approximately 8% of our daily needs in Turkey from here alone. Of course, we have a lot of work to do. We have very important new exploration areas.

NEW GAS DISCOVERY IN THE BLACK SEA

On Saturday, our esteemed President gave our nation good news from the Black Sea. He shared with our people the new reserve discovery that will meet the natural gas we use in our homes for 3.5 years alone, approximately 75 billion cubic meters. Our production work and new exploration efforts continue there. Our daily production, which has reached 81,000 barrels in Gabar, will continue to grow with new fields and discoveries, reducing Turkey's dependence on foreign energy. This project has not only an economic value but also a much greater significance in terms of its contribution to this region. This region was known for terrorism, a place that was inaccessible. Thank God, we have built a road network of 680 km in these mountains. More than 3,000 young brothers of ours are working," he said.
