President's Chief Advisor Oktay Saral harshly criticized Naci Bostancı, a former AK Party Member of Parliament and the Rector of Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, who expressed support for Israeli-born singer Linet, who was protested before her concert. Saral stated, "What do you care about Linet! These words can never be innocent. He should resign, and an investigation should be conducted."
Images of protests against Israeli singer Linet before her concert have resonated widely in the public, while former AK Party Member of Parliament and Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Rector Naci Bostancı also made statements supporting the famous singer.
NACI BOSTANCI SUPPORTS LINET
Bostancı stated in a post on X, "Whether you like the singer Linet or not, the address for the reaction to Israeli oppression cannot be Linet's concert. Such actions that exceed their intent are harmful, not beneficial, to the Palestinians. Concert cancellations that stem solely from tribalism are absolutely unacceptable," he expressed.
OKTAY SARAL: THESE WORDS CAN NEVER BE INNOCENT
The words of AK Party rector Naci Bostancı angered Presidential Chief Advisor Oktay Saral significantly. Quoting Bostancı's post, Saral said, "What’s going on, Naci Bostancı! You will remain silent about the atrocities happening in Gaza and many countries around the world, but you will scream as if a Zionist singer has been victimized! What do you care about Linet! These words can never be innocent. He should resign, and an investigation should be conducted," he stated.
