Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that 32 more drugs have been included in the reimbursement scope by the Social Security Institution (SGK).
The Social Security Institution (SGK) included 32 more drugs used in the treatment of many diseases, from cancer to diabetes, in its reimbursement coverage. It was announced that 21 of the drugs on the list are domestically produced.
Minister Işıkhan stated in his post on social media that the drugs added to the reimbursement list are used in the treatment of various diseases.
CANCER, DIABETES, AND COPD DRUGS ON THE LIST
According to the statement, among the drugs added to the reimbursement coverage are 1 smart drug used in cancer treatment, 3 drugs used in bleeding treatment, 3 drugs used in diabetes treatment, and 1 drug used in COPD treatment. It was reported that a total of 32 drugs, including those used in the treatment of different diseases, were included in the reimbursement list.

Minister Işıkhan emphasized that 21 of the drugs covered by the reimbursement are domestically produced, stating, "Our Social Security Institution has added a total of 32 more drugs, 21 of which are domestically produced, to our reimbursement list."
With the new regulation, it is aimed to facilitate access to drugs for many patients and reduce the economic burden in treatment processes.
