MEHMET AKİF ERSOY ARRESTED
Eight people, including former Habertürk Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy, were detained the night before last as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the crimes of "purchasing, accepting, or possessing drugs or stimulants for personal use, or using drugs or stimulants, or providing a place and means for their use." A detention order was issued at the moment Ersoy and 3 others were removed from their positions at Habertürk, and a detention decision was made last night.
