In the Menzil Village of the Kahta district in Adıyaman, a dispute among siblings regarding inheritance sharing has been ongoing for some time. Recently, the Serhendi Group intervened when the Semerkand Group wanted to construct a part of the Menzil Mosque in the village, leading to a stone-throwing and stick-fighting clash between the groups of siblings. Some members of the congregation were injured in the fight, and a large number of gendarmerie were sent to the village. THE COMMUNITY'S PROPERTIES BECAME A LEGAL MATTERThe transformation of the "inheritance" debate in Menzil into a stone-throwing and stick-fighting incident at the mosque continues to be a topic of discussion, with community members also getting involved in the wealth dispute among the siblings. The community's properties in various parts of Turkey have become a legal matter. A structure used as a lodge in Adana was demanded to pay rent with interest. In Ankara, followers faced legal issues due to allegations of housing violations. "UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY INTO THE APARTMENT"According to a report by Cumhuriyet newspaper, B.Ş. filed a complaint with the Gökhan Osman Karaduman Police Station in Ufuktepe, Ankara, for "violation of housing immunity," claiming that unauthorized entry was made into an apartment in Keçiören. In B.Ş.'s statement, it was noted, "When I went to the apartment, I saw that the lock had been changed. When I entered, I saw T.Ü. and a few other people whose names I did not know, and I immediately called the police. The police arrived, and I asked them to remove these individuals from my apartment. I use this apartment from time to time to spend time with my friends and family. I am also a complainant against T.Ü. and the individuals with him who entered my apartment without my permission, as well as the locksmith who opened the door." "THEY URINATED IN THE MOSQUE COURTYARD"On the other hand, Rağıp Elhüseyni, the son of the spokesperson for the Serhendi Foundation, Muhammed Saki Elhüseyni, shared a video regarding the recent large fight, stating, "They urinated in the mosque courtyard. I didn't want to use this word, but they did it. We expect the necessary response from the state. We have submitted a petition to the relevant authorities and the prosecutor's office. We will not intervene ourselves in any way. We will wait for the state to take the necessary actions. I do not want any physical intervention from anyone. Our job here is to protect the property of the ummah. Our concern is not that a room should not be built here; they have plenty of land. They can build a room for themselves there. Coming and doing it in front of the mosque is provocation. I hope our state will do what is necessary." SPECIAL OPERATIONS TEAMS IN THE VILLAGEAs the dimensions of the fight grow every day, it has been learned that Saki Erol, who established the Serhendi Foundation and separated his path from the Semerkand Foundation led by his brother Mübarek Erol, has increased the number of his special protection personnel, and special operations teams have been dispatched to the village following the rising tension. THEY ARE ON ALERT EVEN WHILE LEADING PRAYERSSaygı Öztürk from Sözcü newspaper reported that Erol's bodyguards standing right behind him while he was leading prayers in the mosque were on alert for any potential attack, stating, "I learned that he was warned that poison could be put in his food and drink."
