PFDK has banned Fenerbahçe footballer Mert Hakan Yandaş for 12 months due to a betting violation.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) has imposed a 12-month deprivation of rights penalty on Fenerbahçe player Mert Hakan Yandaş.

In a statement from the TFF, it was announced that the PFDK imposed a 12-month deprivation of rights penalty on the yellow-navy player due to a betting act.
HE WAS TRIED UNDER ARREST FOR FOUR MONTHS
Fenerbahçe captain Mert Hakan Yandaş, who was released on April 3 after being held under arrest for months as part of the football betting and match-fixing operation, had been referred to the PFDK.
Mert Hakan Yandaş, who was tried under arrest in prison for approximately four months due to the betting and match-fixing investigation, had started participating in training with the team.
