A worker died after a gas cylinder fell on him from a building under construction in Kastamonu.
GAS CYLINDER FELL FROM THE 6TH FLOOR
The incident occurred on Arnavutoğlu Street in the Mehmet Akif Ersoy neighborhood. According to the information obtained, a gas cylinder slipped from the hands of construction workers laying membrane on the roof of a 6-story building under construction and fell on the head of 43-year-old Erol Buyun.
HE LOST HIS LIFE
The severely injured worker was taken to Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital after initial first aid by health teams at the scene. Buyun, who underwent surgery, could not be saved despite the interventions. Buyun's body was taken to the hospital morgue.
Police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
