Merve Aydın is not tired of Survivor: Even if it’s 10 times, I would go 10 times.

There is curiosity about which former contestants will participate in the Survivor 2025 season. Merve Aydın, who has previously competed in the show five times, spoke about the new season and revealed whether she wants to participate. Aydın stated, "Even if it's 10 times, I would go 10 times."

Survivor is preparing for a new season this year, just like every year. It has become a matter of curiosity which names will participate in Survivor, featuring an All Star cast. Former contestants have expressed their thoughts on the subject one by one. Among the assertive names, Nagihan Karadere could not speak clearly due to her injury, while Survivor champion Nefise Karatay stated that she would not be participating in the new season.

One of those names is Merve Aydın, who has participated in the competition five times in ten years. The famous personality announced on her social media account whether she would be participating in Survivor in 2025.

"I WOULD GO EVEN IF IT'S 10 TIMES"

She responded to a follower's question on her social media account, "Are you thinking of going to Survivor again?" by saying, "My dears, I love Survivor very, very much. If they call me, I would go again. If they tell me tomorrow, I would go again. The thing I love the most is competing; I love the spirit of competition. Even if it's 10 times, I would go 10 times."

WHO IS MERVE AYDIN?

Merve Aydın was born on March 17, 1990, in Istanbul. She won a silver medal in the 800 meters at the 2008 World Junior Athletics Championships and the 2011 European Under-23 Athletics Championships. She also earned her second silver medal in the 4x400 relay at the World University Summer Games. With her performance at the European Under-23 Athletics Championships, she also surpassed the World – Olympic B standard.

Merve Aydın competed in the 2nd series of the women's 800 meters at the London 2012 Summer Olympics qualifiers and finished last due to an injury during the race. The sight of her continuing the race while crying due to the pain of her injury made headlines. On June 12, 2012, she broke the Turkish record in the 800 meters with a time of 2:00.23 in a race held as part of the Olympic qualifiers in Belarus. Aydın also holds the outdoor Turkish record in this field with a time of 3:29.42 from the 2011 European Team Championships.

On August 21, 2019, Merve Aydın opened a sports school under the name Merve Aydın Sports School. The athlete, who married Mehmet Akif Filiz on September 1, 2018, has a son named Mehmet Barlas Filiz. Aydın is known to be 1.80 meters tall.
