President Erdoğan continued: "I hope that this important day, on which the essence of our independence and future is embodied in the unconditional sovereignty of the nation, will bring blessings for our country, our nation, and all humanity. I once again express my gratitude to all members of our esteemed Parliament, who paved the way for the Republic by leading and managing the National Struggle, especially the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. I commemorate with mercy the heroes who have made this land our homeland for centuries, from the first incursions in Ahlat and Malazgirt to the Gallipoli Epic, from the War of Independence to the July 15 resistance.
Today, I would like to declare once again this truth known to the whole world; we are both a strong nation and a rooted state. The sun and the 16 stars surrounding it on our presidential seal represent our thousands of years of state tradition. Each of these states we established with the ideal of 'Eternal State' is a symbol of the honor and dignity of our national identity; it is a testament to the power and compassion of our noble nation that directs the world. The Republic of Turkey, despite all the difficulties, hardships, and adversities during its most painful days in history, is the last roof of our self-sacrificing nation that clings to its freedom and independence; it is the last link in our chain of states. With this high consciousness, we are working with all our strength to protect the trust of our martyrs and veterans; to ensure that the Republic of Turkey, which rises in brave and self-sacrificing hands, remains eternal.
"WE WILL CONTINUE TO BREAK THE GAMES"
In his message, President Erdoğan stated, "In line with our goals for the Turkey Century, where we will leave our mark on the century; we are making groundbreaking initiatives in every field from defense industry to economy, from education to agriculture, tourism, energy, and foreign policy."
Pointing out that the wounds of the earthquake disaster that occurred on February 6, 2023, are being healed and that the disaster victims are quickly being reunited with their safe homes, Erdoğan announced that by the end of the year, the delivery of keys for 453,000 houses will be carried out as promised. Emphasizing that they are also making steady progress towards a Terror-Free Turkey, where 86 million citizens will live in peace, security, tranquility, and prosperity, President Erdoğan noted: "Without giving any credit to the chaos merchants targeting our national unity and solidarity; we will continue to overcome obstacles, break the games, and thwart the ambitions of those pursuing expansionist goals, God willing. On the other hand, in a period where wars, conflicts, and crises erode universal values, as Turkey, we are working with all our strength for 'a fairer world' with our identity as defenders of rights and truth. In many crisis regions, especially in Gaza and Palestine; we are striving to stop the bloodshed, heal the wounds, and open the way to lasting peace through our mediation efforts, diplomatic initiatives, and humanitarian aid.
