The Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced that the Social and Economic Support (SED) payment amounting to 1 billion 227 million lira for May has been deposited into accounts.
Minister Göktaş stated in a written statement that they give special importance to services for children and diversify services by considering the different needs of children. In this regard, Minister Göktaş reported that they support children alongside their families and within their social environment with SED, emphasizing that they work diligently to ensure that children grow up as individuals who possess national values, are self-confident, educated, and healthy. Minister Göktaş noted that they strive to ensure that children can be raised primarily with the care and warmth of their families through family-centered social service models, stating, "We have deposited a total of 1 billion 227 million lira for the SED payment aimed at supporting children's social needs and covering educational expenses into accounts for May."
