WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın claimed in a statement made at the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) that a "isolation" process had been initiated against Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is detained at Marmara Prison in Silivri.

After Akın Gürlek was appointed as the Justice Minister, Günaydın alleged that İmamoğlu had not been allowed to meet with any deputies for 5 days, saying, "Do you think you can isolate President Ekrem from the public? These cruelties will backfire on you."
