A citizen in Artvin fell from a retaining wall 70 meters high and lost his life. Teams dispatched to the scene reached the lifeless body of the individual identified as Turgay Atalay.
A person who fell from the retaining wall in Artvin during the night hours lost their life at the scene.
The incident occurred around 10:00 PM at the DSİ location on the Artvin-Ardanuç road. According to the information obtained, AFAD, gendarmerie, and health teams were dispatched to the area upon receiving a report that a citizen had fallen from the 70-meter-high retaining wall located on the highway.
IT WAS DETERMINED THAT HE LOST HIS LIFE
As a result of the work carried out by the teams at the scene, the person was removed from where he was found. Health teams determined that the person had lost his life during the examination. It was determined that the person who lost his life in the incident was Turgay Atalay. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
