In a statement made by the ministry regarding the works, it was stated, "In İndere, which is Turkey's second largest construction site, new living spaces are being created on an area of approximately 5 million square meters, equivalent to the size of 700 football fields, under the coordination of TOKİ and the General Directorate of Emlak Konut. In İndere, where 9,500 engineers, architects, and workers are employed, a total of 16,822 independent units are being constructed, including 16,467 residential units and 355 workplaces.
