Since October 1, planned water cuts have been implemented in Bursa, and this decision has been extended once again. In a statement made on the social media account of Bursa Water and Sewerage Administration (BUSKİ), the districts that will be affected for 6 days were shared. It was stated that the cuts will occur in Osmangazi, Yıldırım, Nilüfer, Mudanya, Gürsu, Kestel, and Karacabey.
RESERVOIRS HAVE DRIED UP
On the other hand, there is no water left in the Nilüfer reservoir with a capacity of 60 million cubic meters and the Doğancı reservoir with a capacity of 125 million cubic meters, which supply water to the districts of Yıldırım, Nilüfer, Osmangazi, Gürsu, Kestel, and part of Mudanya. The filling rate, which was 2.33% on September 28, was measured at 0.49% on October 12, 0.15% on October 15, and as of yesterday, it was measured at 0%.
A portion of the daily water needs of the relevant districts, which is around 400-500 thousand cubic meters, is being tried to be met with 100 thousand cubic meters of water taken from the Çınarcık Reservoir, wells, and spring sources.
