The Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, stated that a new social housing campaign to be launched by TOKİ will be announced by the end of the year, emphasizing that new housing opportunities will be provided for low-income citizens.

The Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, stated regarding the new social housing campaign to be launched by the Housing Development Administration (TOKİ), "With our social housing campaign that we will announce at the end of the year and for which we are continuing preparations, we will provide new housing opportunities for low-income citizens." Kurum shared on his social media account about the "Profitable Investment Campaign" initiated by Emlak Konut for the middle-income group, which was introduced today, and the new social housing campaign to be launched by TOKİ for low-income individuals.

In his post, Kurum reminded that they are carrying out an unprecedented reconstruction and revitalization effort in the earthquake zone, stating that they will reunite all citizens with their homes by the end of the year. Minister Kurum conveyed that while continuing activities in the earthquake zone, they will also tackle the housing and rental issues in metropolitan areas, especially in Istanbul, stating, "Our General Directorate of Emlak Konut has announced the details of the new housing campaign. With the contributions of our Emlak Katılım Bankası, we will make our middle-income citizens homeowners."

Our General Directorate of National Real Estate is also conducting a study to reduce land costs. This study will be an important effort that will also affect housing prices. We will not stop until our citizens in Istanbul, Ankara, and all other cities have access to safe, solid, and affordable housing."
