The Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, evaluated the Economic Confidence Index data for February. Highlighting that the index rose to a level of 100.7, surpassing the threshold value, Şimşek emphasized that the implemented policies are strengthening the macroeconomic fundamentals.

Minister Şimşek stated, "The Economic Confidence Index exceeded the threshold value with 100.7 in February. The index, which reflects the evaluations of all sectors, shows a positive perception of the economic situation and an improvement in expectations."
HIGHEST LEVEL SINCE 2023 IN THE REAL SECTOR
Pointing out the recovery in the manufacturing industry and production world, Şimşek expressed that the confidence in the real sector has reached its highest level since October 2023. The Minister noted that this data is a concrete sign that the recovery in the manufacturing industry outlook has gained strength.
