The family of Biology Teacher Fatma Nur Çelik, who was killed by her student in Istanbul, received a condolence visit from Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also expressed his condolences over the phone. Minister Tekin announced that the late teacher's name would be given to the school where she worked, while Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that a street in Konya would be named after the late teacher.

The family of Biology Teacher Fatma Nur Çelik, who lost her life due to a knife attack by student F.S.B. (17) at the school where she worked in Istanbul, received a condolence visit from Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi. Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi visited the family of teacher Fatma Nur Çelik, who was killed by her student in Çekmeköy, Istanbul, in her hometown of Konya.

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin and Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi conveyed their condolences to teacher Fatma Nur Çelik's mother Rukiye Arıcan and her brother Cihan Çelik. During the visit, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also offered his condolences to mother Rukiye Arıcan by phone. Minister Tekin stated that the late teacher's name would be given to the school where she worked. Additionally, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay announced that a street in Konya would be named after the late teacher. Furthermore, it was stated that, by the decision of the Board of Directors of Borsa Istanbul, the educational expenses of Fatma Nur Çelik's son would be covered until the end of his higher education life.
