A historic increase of 7.67 lira has been made for diesel, while only 57 kuruş of the 2.29 lira increase in gasoline will be reflected at the pump due to the escalator mechanism. With the increase to be implemented at midnight, the price of diesel will exceed 85 lira, and the cost of a 60-liter tank will rise by approximately 460 lira.

NEW PRICES IN METROPOLITAN CITIES
After the increase, it is expected that fuel prices will rise to significant levels on a city basis. Accordingly, the price of gasoline per liter is projected to reach 63.17 lira in Istanbul, 64.14 lira in Ankara, 64.42 lira in Izmir, and 65.77 lira in eastern provinces.
For diesel, prices are expected to rise to 85.14 lira in Istanbul, 86.27 lira in Ankara, 86.54 lira in Izmir, and approximately 88 lira in eastern provinces.
