The President of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), İbrahim Kalın, made a presentation at the Republican People's Party (CHP) Headquarters. The meeting, which was attended by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and his aides, lasted approximately three hours. While no statement was made by the CHP regarding the content of the presentation, no photos were shared either.

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

It had emerged that MIT President İbrahim Kalın participated in the AK Party MYK meeting held on Tuesday, October 22, chaired by President Erdoğan, to make a presentation following the death of FETÖ leader Gülen. After these developments were reported in the media, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, CHP Spokesperson Deniz Yücel, MYK members, and deputies criticized this situation.

ÖZEL HAD FORWARDED THE REQUEST FOR A PRESENTATION TO KALIN

CHP Leader Özel sent a letter to MIT President Kalın, conveying that they expected him to make a presentation to the CHP as well. Özgür Özel later stated in a statement that Kalın would also make a presentation at the CHP Headquarters in the near future.
