Cengiz Ş. (44), sitting in a cafeteria in Beşiktaş, was shot in front of his wife by a hooded person approaching from behind. The man, who was shot in the back of the neck, was seriously injured, while the suspect, Kadir N. The incident occurred around 23:30 on April 15 in the Sinanpaşa neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Cengiz Ş., who was sitting in the street café, began to chat with his wife. At that moment, the hooded attacker approached Cengiz Ş. from behind and shot him in the back of the neck. After the attack, the suspect fled while Cengiz Ş. was seriously injured. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The health teams, who arrived at the scene shortly, took the seriously injured Cengiz Ş. to the hospital after the first intervention. POLICE CAPTURED THE ATTACKER
After the incident, the teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Public Order Branch started working to capture the suspect. The police, who began to examine the security camera footage, determined that the suspect had changed vehicles several times and arrived in Kağıthane after the incident. Ongoing investigations revealed that the suspect was Kadir N., who had no criminal record. The suspect, who was trying to leave the country from Edirne, was caught by police teams before he could escape. Kadir N., who was taken into custody, was brought to the Public Order Branch. It was learned that the suspect's processing at the police station was ongoing.
