Fenerbahçe paid a rental fee of 8 million euros (327 million TL) for Allan Saint-Maximin at the beginning of the season. Despite Al-Ahli covering all of Saint-Maximin's salary, the club recorded a deficit of 35.8 million TL.
After the weight discussions with head coach Jose Mourinho, Allan Saint-Maximin, who was not included in the squad for the last two matches (Rangers, Samsunspor) and faced claims of being suspended, has become a heavy financial burden for Fenerbahçe.

AL-AHLI COVERS HIS ENTIRE SALARY
On the other hand, the entire salary of the 28-year-old player is covered by Al-Ahli, the club he came from. Saint-Maximin's annual salary is reported to be around 13 million euros.
MOURINHO CRITICIZED HARSHLY
Fenerbahçe's head coach Jose Mourinho, after the press conference following the match where they lost 2 points by drawing 0-0 with Samsunspor, made statements about his player Allan Saint-Maximin, who has been drawing attention with his recent posts: "He had a lot of chances during the season. There hasn't been a period in the last 3 months where he trained for 4 consecutive days. It has never happened. Allan Saint-Maximin, who has fallen short of expectations at Fenerbahçe, was rumored to leave the team during the winter transfer window. His transfer to Italian Serie A team Napoli did not materialize due to financial disagreements.
