FIRE IN MUĞLA
A fire broke out in the forest of Akköprü neighborhood in the rural district of Köyceğiz, Muğla, around 00:30 yesterday for an undetermined reason. Those who saw the smoke rising from the area reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Many teams were dispatched to the area from the Forest Regional Directorate and the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department. Due to the wind speed reaching up to 71 kilometers per hour, the fire quickly grew.
INTERVENTION RESUMED WITH THE FIRST LIGHT OF THE MORNING
Throughout the night, the fire was intervened from the ground with 506 personnel and 166 vehicles, and with the dawn, 10 planes and 14 helicopters also provided support. In the neighborhoods of Akköprü, Sazak, and Pınar, 218 houses were evacuated, and 582 people were relocated to safe areas. The evacuation of 997 small livestock and 582 large livestock was completed. Education was suspended for one day.

Two of the three personnel were sent to a healthcare facility for precautionary reasons due to smoke inhalation, and one was sent due to partial burns. It was reported that material damage occurred to the water tanker.
FIRE IN ANTALYA
A fire broke out in the Aksu district of Antalya at 21:00 yesterday evening. The flames rising from the forested area in Kumköy neighborhood quickly spread over a wide area.
HOTELS EVACUATED
The fire approached the Kral Yolu area, where greenhouses and hotels are located. Security measures in the area have been increased. Guests in two evacuated hotels were directed to other hotels.
CONTROLLED
Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin stated that the fire in Aksu started near the area where the golf hotels are located, saying, "The dry reeds by the stream caught fire, causing a lot of smoke. Our teams surrounded the fire, and it has been brought under control."

The fight against the flames continues in Alanya, Antalya. The fire had started on Thursday evening around 23:00. Some greenhouses caught fire, and houses were damaged in Aliefendi neighborhood, where the flames were present. The fire spread to nearby neighborhoods of İspatlı, Kargıcak, and Kocaoğlanlı.

On the second day of the extinguishing efforts, evacuations occurred in the fire zone. The local people who evacuated their homes transported their animals to safe areas using tractors and trucks.
