Münevver Karabulut's mother: No one should claim to me that Cem Garipoğlu is dead.

The Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office reported that the samples taken from the grave of Cem Garipoğlu, who committed suicide in prison in 2014 after murdering Münevver Karabulut in Istanbul 15 years ago, matched those of his father and mother, and that it was determined that this person had the exact same DNA profile as the individual who was identified as having committed suicide following an autopsy in 2014.

The development has resonated widely in the public, and after the decision of the Forensic Medicine Institution, Cem Garipoğlu's mother, Tülay Garipoğlu, stated, "I think there is nothing left to discuss. If you allow me, let us now grieve our loss. Both sides have been tormented by separate pains. Please have compassion for Ms. Nagihan (Münevver Karabulut's mother, Nagihan Karabulut), if not for me," she expressed.

Did she feel sorry for me after all the things done to cover up the case in Forensic Medicine, the judiciary, and the police? Did she feel sorry for me while cleaning up the house that turned into a pool of blood and hiding the saw with which they beheaded my daughter?"

The mother Karabulut, who does not believe Cem Garipoğlu is dead, continued, "No one should claim that this monster named Cem Garipoğlu is dead. I do not believe it. We, as a family, have made requests to my lawyer for both the exhumation and to appeal the report. I leave them to God; I do not forgive this Garipoğlu family, who have no humanity in this world or the next. Now, despite all the filth they have done, they are trying to portray themselves as victims; they should not mention my name again with their dirty mouths. I do not believe Cem Garipoğlu is dead.

We will continue our legal struggle to ensure that my daughter's blood does not go unavenged. If it weren't for Rezzan Epözdemir, they would have covered it up; she fought alone against all the irregularities in Forensic Medicine, the judiciary, and the police. For 15 years, she has been fighting alongside us without any requests; if it weren't for her, such decisions would not have been made, the case would have been covered up, and the grave would not have been opened.
